I am delighted to have been asked to join the Trustees of EdUKaid. In my day job I work as a part-time, employed, Safeguarding professional within the Church of England, working within the Diocese of Salisbury. Salisbury Diocese encompasses parts of Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and the Channel Islands. This is a role I have held since January 2020. Prior to this I had a full-term career as a Police Officer within Wiltshire Police. The majority of this time was spent in investigative roles. I retired from the Police in 2019, as a Detective Superintendent. 

Having grown up in Salisbury my wife (Sarah) and I re-located to Devon in 2021, where we have a smallholding with a variety of animals!  We have 2 adult sons. In January 2025, we were also approved as Foster-Carers with Devon County Council and have so far fostered one child, who was very recently adopted. We are now awaiting the next chapter of our fostering journey.
