Great Vending Get Together Success! £35.000 raised! The UK vending industry has once again shown its remarkable generosity, raising an impressive £35,000 for EdUKaid at the 2025 Golf Day and Great Vending Get Together, held on Friday 26th September at Ardencote Manor Hotel and Spa. Now in its 14th year, the annual charity ball and auction was proudly sponsored by global technology leaders Cantaloupe. Golf in the sunshine Organised by Robin Turver and David Llewellyn the day began with golfers enjoying breakfast sponsored by Red Bull and teeing off in beautiful sunshine. Doozy, Carabao, Walkers and Vit Hit provided refreshments and lunch was sponsored by Nebrak. Prizes sponsored by Cantaloupe were awarded for the top scoring golfer and team as well as nearest the pin and longest drive was sponsored by Planet Vending. Dinner and auction Doozy’s CEO and Chair of EdUKaid Tim Varney opened the evening with a moving presentation, showing what EdUKaid has achieved over the past 22 years and the transformative impact of last year’s fundraising efforts.. Tim thanked everyone that had supported this event and paid tribute to our long standing supporters, H20 Direct, Cymraeg Vending, NIVO and Tower Leasing. Guests were introduced to EdUKaid’s Programme Manager, Bintially Mfangavo, visiting the UK from Tanzania for the first time. Bintially thanked attendees for their support and shared first-hand accounts of how their contributions are making a difference to children’s lives in rural Tanzania. Prize winning balloons sponsored by Coffetek were sold to guests, filling the room with colour. After a lavish 3 course dinner, Tim Varney conducted a lively auction sponsored by Aimia Foods including fantastic prizes donated by Mondelez, Kepak, Beyaz Villas, Britvic, Scobie McIntosh, Carabao and generous individual supporters. Guests also had the opportunity to bid on some fabulous items in a silent auction sponsored by Rhea Vendors including several Makonde Carvings from Tanzania and prizes donated by Tower Leasing, Ardencote Manor Hotel and Spa, Vit Hit, and . To top off the evening, Tim was presented with a cheque for £2,000 from long term supporters NIVO. Overwhelmed by the generosity Tim told us ‘Every year I think it can’t get any better – but the industry has, once again, smashed the previous year’s total. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my colleagues in the vending industry – helping EdUKaid transform the lives of some of the disadvantaged children in rural Tanzania.” The fun filled evening concluded with a fantastic performance from Salisbury band The Deloreons sponsored by Cantaloupe and some fabulous moves on the dance floor.
