In southern Tanzania, women and girls face huge barriers to accessing education due to poor, undignified sanitation facilities, a lack of understanding of their rights and harmful cultural beliefs. As a result, less than 1 in 100 girls gets to complete her education - most dropping out when they reach puberty. Girls who drop of school are at significantly more risk of exploitation and abuse with teenage girls often pregnant or married when still children themselves.

On the 8th July, Yasmin, Neena and Inaara will be hula hooping for EdUKaid's '20for20' challenge so that girls in Tanzania get the education they deserve and the chance of a better life.
